Thank you for visiting my web site. My name is Lilia and I'm the founder of Lilia's Investing Academy. When I started investing in the 1980s, I bought mutual funds only because that's all I knew. Then the bear markets of 2000 and 2007 occurred, and I lost thousands of dollars in my 401(k) and IRA accounts. I became completely disillusioned with mutual funds and was determined to find a better way to invest in the stock market. Clearly, the traditional "buy and hold" strategy was too risky and ineffective. I started attending financial seminars and discovered OPTIONS trading. When the speakers mentioned that we could use options to make money regardless of the direction of the stock market, I was hooked. I went online and studied all the options information on the Internet. After placing a few options trades in my practice account, I jumped right in and started selling covered call options and cash-secured put options. Now, thousands of options trades later, I am more convinced than ever that selling put options is the easiest way to generate consistent returns in the long run.
